To Be Archaeologist

Ancient and medieval history was my passion when I was young (and still is ). I wanted to go to archaeological studies but finally I chose IT - computer graphic specialization (I made this decision after watching Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings, hehe). So my art refers to this dream about archaeology. It would be great to discover some ancient city, to see places which haven’t been seen for ages by any human being. Another element which is connected with my childish dreams is the helicopter. Almost every boy wants to fly, to be a pilot. Also everyone knows that aeroplanes are better than helicopters, but in my opinion these second are more usuful for archaeologist

Now something about making of. First I made a 3d models and then I used some render’s passes to paint over them. So this work is a mix of 3d and 2d techniques. The city design is inspired by Aztec Tenochtitlan's temple district.
